Sendai Astronomical Observatory, well known to Sendai citizens who love the starry sky,
opend in Aoba-ku,Sendai-City. It is a HYBRID of conventional optical planetarium and digital
video systems, where visitors can experience the wonders of the universe.

The National Science Museum in Daejon in Korea was originally opened in 1990.
In February 2009 a new VIRTUARIUM II fulldome video projection system
replaced the old Astrovision 70 (large format film projection system).
The combination of dynamic video images and the beautiful star field of
the existing GSS II opto-mechanical star projector enhances the potential of
exciting presentations in the dome.

In February, 2010, the planetarium in the Chinese biggest science museum,
China Science & Technology Museum opened in the Beijing Olympic village.
This is a complex theater consisting of opto-mechanical star projector,

■ Sudekum Planetarium, Adventure Science Center |

The Sudekum Planetarium in Nashville, TN, USA opened a greatly expanded planetarium on June 28, 2008.
This new 12 degree tilted dome is the heart of a very active public and school services program.
This is the first American planetarium to produce HYBRID planetarium programs for sale to other
planetariums.
