| ■ VIRTUARIUM |
 |
|
“VIRTUARIUM” is the term combining “virtual-reality” and “arium”, meaning “space”.
Beyond the function of an ordinary planetarium, the VIRTUARIUM creates images that transcend time.
It was premiered in 1996 by GOTO INC as the world's first color, dome ceiling projection system
able to display 3-dimensional still and animated computer graphic images in real time.
VIRTUARIUM evolved into the next generation fulldome digital imaging system, VIRTUARIUM II,
in April 2003 when it incorporated many technological advancements.
And, keep watching in 2009 as GOTO announces the next step in VIRTUARIUM,
including exciting new programming capabilities!

■ Wide Field of Applications |
 |
VIRTUARIUM II is a totally new type of visual-audio medium designed for domed spaces.
It can help viewers learn about life or physical sciences, watch environmentally significant scenes,
and can simulate architectural or engineering designs. More revolutionary than evolutionary, GOTO has
produced
an entirely new audiovisual medium.
VIRTUARIUM II - This exciting fulldome video visualization system is empowered by Digistar 3®
from E&S®.
*“Virtuarium” is a registered GOTO trademark. |
