GOTO INC Wins “Special Prize”

GOTO INC was awarded the prestigious "Special Award" at the annual Tokyo Venture Technology Awards on November 18, 2015. This award is given to small and medium sized businesses which show an extraordinary venture spirit which has driven innovation. In ceremonies at the Tokyo Big Sight facility, Tokyo Metropolitan Governor Yoichi Masuzoe presented the award to our president Nobutaka Goto. Mr. Goto proudly accepted it on behalf of all who work at GOTO INC. In our booth, Mr. Goto himself introduced the award-winning CHIRON III projector to Mr. Masuzoe and to the public.
The CHIRON III planetarium projector is the first opto-mechanical projector which reproduces not only the correct brightness of 9,500 stars, but also shows all of them in the correct color temperature. It can also independently dim the 100,000,000 micro-stars of its Milky Way to accurately present the sky for educational or entertainment purposes.
This projector, and the entire line of GOTO opto-mechanical projectors is totally LED-illuminated for long life and energy efficiency. CHIRON III consumes only 900 watts of electricity. The starball, while only 48cm in diameter, beautifully fills domes from 16 to 30 meters in diameter.
