GOTO News from IPS 2012

GOTO INC would like to thank everyone who helped to make the IPS 2012 conference in Baton Rouge, LA such a success. The staff of the Pennington Planetarium served as the perfect hosts, showing true Southern hospitality! More than 700 people attended, with a wide array of stimulating programs, papers, vendor presentations, exhibits, and fun social activities. Thirteen GOTO staff members and a number of international representatives of GOTO were on hand, presenting the latest news and products from GOTO. Two inflatable domes held GOTO PANDIA HYBRID systems, and an exhibit booth showed more products, history, and shows from GOTO. We had a great time, and are looking forward to Beijing in 2014! (Watch for pre/post-conference tour opportunities to visit GOTO in Japan.)

1 GOTO unveiled VIRTUARIUM X, a brand new fulldome system designed from the ground up to be paired with GOTO's opto-mechanical line of projectors in HYBRID systems! New features, lower prices, solid performance.
2 Also shown for the first time was a new manual control console for all GOTO HYBRIDS. Easy, hands-on control of the sky without the need for bright computer monitors blocking your view.
3 Ash Enterprises was announced as a new dealer of GOTO INC systems. After many years of doing installations and maintenance, they now sell our full product line and can provide new or renovating planetariums with full turnkey services.
4 RSA Cosmos, a recent addition to the GOTO sales force in Europe, announced that it now also offers GOTO HYBRIDS with their Sky Explorer fulldome systems in North America as well - through Ash Enterprises.
5 GOTO's new fulldome show "A Planet for Goldilocks" premiered to audiences eager to know more about the search for exoplanets which could support life in the "just right" zone around distant stars. This show is available NOW!
