GOTO INC delivered and installed “Orpheus Hybrid” at Hachinohe Children’s Science Museum. The system is a “hybrid planetarium” that combines the optical planetarium “Orpheus” with the full-dome digital video system “Virtualium II”, and this is the first time that this optical projector has been introduced in the Tohoku area of ​​Japan. The combination of the optical planetarium, which reproduces the Milky Way with about 8 million stars, and the digital system that can project high-definition and dynamic space images has transformed the dome space into one where you can enjoy beautiful starry skies and powerful images.
In addition to the usual astronomy learning programs, landscape images from all 41 elementary schools in the city will be projected as learning tools, and educational materials related to the ocean will be shown as full-dome images, creating a wide range of educational scenes.
