Fulldome Projection System

■ VIRTUARIUM

“VIRTUARIUM” is the term combining “virtual-reality” and “arium”, meaning “space”. Beyond the function of an ordinary planetarium, the VIRTUARIUM creates images that transcend time. It was premiered in 1996 by GOTO INC as the world's first color, dome ceiling projection system able to display 3-dimensional still and animated computer graphic images in real time. VIRTUARIUM evolved into the next generation fulldome digital imaging system, VIRTUARIUM II, in April 2003 when it incorporated many technological advancements.
And, keep watching in 2016 as GOTO announces the next step in VIRTUARIUM, including exciting new programming capabilities!
