GOTO INC is thrilled to announce that our state-of-the-art “CHIRONⅢ HYBRID” has been installed at the Chiba City Museum of Science’s planetarium dome.

The museum has been a long-time user of the CHIRON HYBRID since 2007. However, they have now upgraded to a “hybrid planetarium” that integrates the “CHIRONⅢ” optical projector, capable of displaying the Milky Way with an impressive 100 million tiny stars, with the “VIRTUARIUMⅡ” full-dome digital video system, which uses a high-luminosity projector. This new system casts a starry sky of unparalleled beauty, transforming the dome into a realm of immersive digital imagery that envelops the entire ceiling.

The planetarium is set to reopen on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
